Assembled in chronological order, it is located after the sewing and stitching area. Riding means pulling the upper of the footwear, which can be leather, fabric, etc. on the last, adjusting so that it begins to shape the shoe. The important thing is to avoid any deformation of the material at all costs.
It is known as the Ströbel® system, also called overcasting. It is a system where the cut or upper is joined with the assembly template, by means of a single-thread zigzag seam, made with a machine. This type of union gives flexibility and lightness to the final product, unlike conventional assembly, which presents a certain rigidity, due to the conventional material of the template.
Vulcanizing consists of a sole manufacturing process whose main material is natural rubber. The mixture of all materials is heated under pressure at temperatures above 150ºC. The main difference between vulcanized footwear and other types of footwear lies in the quality of the shoes. A vulcanized sole provides greater flexibility that translates into a much healthier and more comfortable walk. It also considerably increases the useful life of the product.
